The Role

We are looking for an

enthusiastic Machine Setter/Operative

to join our production team. This hands-on, part-time role will involve supporting the team on both machine setup and production line duties, helping us ensure smooth, efficient operations. This role is ideal for someone looking for flexible hours, including semi-retired individuals, with the potential for extra shifts on the production line.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Setup & Maintenance:

Assist in setting up machinery including pneumatic and electric bottle fillers, automatic labellers, inkjet coders, IHS, and capping machines. Carry out routine maintenance and help troubleshoot operational issues.

Production Line Support:

Work alongside the team on the filling line to meet daily targets and maintain quality standards.

Quality & Safety:

Follow SOPs under our ISO9001 QMS, adhere to safety protocols, and maintain a clean, tidy working environment.

Required Experience

Some engineering knowledge or experience working with machinery in a manufacturing environment is essential. Previous production line experience is advantageous but not essential.

Skills & Qualities

Reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented. Able to work independently and collaboratively. Positive, solution-focused, and adaptable. Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
