In addition to providing turnkey solutions for the Aerospace and Land Based Gas Turbine industries, Winbro has an approved component manufacturing facility which utilises our own machines and technologies.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Maintain and repair tools for use on our non-conventional machining processes. Reading engineering drawings and on job inspection Mechanical Fitting Conventional manual machining - Surface Grinding, cylindrical grinding, jig boring, milling, turning Sub assembly & bench fitting of small precision tools Following processes and procedures and maintaining records

Working Hours / Shift Pattern:

This role operates on an afternoon shift, with a standard start time of 2:00pm. Flexibility may occasionally be required depending on business needs.

Requirements

Good level of education Time served apprentice preferred Good knowledge of manufacturing methods A logical and analytical approach to problem solving Seeking a position within a technically demanding and challenging environment Being highly motivated , confident and organised with keen attention to detail Ability to absorb technical information quickly and being able to perform tasks whilst under pressure Effective communication skills

Skills & Aptitudes Required

A good team player A flexible approach to work along with a positive and enthusiastic attitude Good level of numeracy and literacy PC literate

Personal Attributes

Actively involved to improve machining efficiencies by continuous improvement
