At Glendale, we have a great new opportunity for a Machinery Manager, ideally based in the midlands near to our new Milton Keynes contract. This is to complement our existing machinery management resource.

Who are you?

  • Have an extensive knowledge of machinery, preferably related to the green services sector supported by relevant qualifications.
  • This is a national role, but ideally you will be based in the midlands, complementing our existing Machinery Manager resource. You must have a willingness to travel throughout the UK to assist our various contracts.
  • A full clean driver\'s licence.
  • Familiarity with HGV\'s and the legal responsibilities owners have for their operation would be advantageous, but not essential.
  • Be IT literate.
  • Be able to demonstrate a track record of developing and improving processes, systems and controls.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ambitious with a high level of commitment.

  • Ensuring contracts are able to work efficiently with Glendale\'s machinery, vehicle and HGV management systems.
  • Raising the level of machinery knowledge and understanding at all corporate levels in the region.
  • Assisting operational contracts with managing the repair and servicing of their machines.
  • Managing machinery movements within the business.
  • Assisting with the review and selection of machines for operational purposes.
  • Being closely involved with the contract start-up and close-down teams.
