Job Title: Senior Backend Developer

Location: Bournemouth, UK

We specialise in Magento, but our expertise extends to other platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Laravel, WordPress, and Shopware. We are currently on the lookout for a talented and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eCommerce development and a passion for delivering exceptional web solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the development team to design, build and maintain scalable, high-quality web applications and eCommerce solutions Develop customised features, extensions and integrations for various platforms, with a primary focus on Magento Ensure the performance, stability and security of our clients' websites Participate in code and architecture reviews, offering constructive feedback and suggestions for improvements Communicate effectively with team members and clients, providing technical guidance and support when needed Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain innovative and competitive

Essential Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with a minimum of 5 years in the industry Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, and MVC frameworks, preferably with experience in Magento 2 Familiarity with other eCommerce platforms, such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Laravel, WordPress, and Shopware Proficient in using Git or other version control systems Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience with RESTful APIs and web services Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Desirable Skills:

Magento Developer Certification Experience with other programming languages, such as Python, Ruby, or Java Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools, such as Jira or Teamwork.

Pay: 40,000.00-55,000.00 per year
