We are currently recruiting for a Mail and Logistics Operator to provide Logistics, Goods & Mail Receiving Services operating within the site Facilities team and delivering to meet the ISS values and leadership principles.
As the Mail and Logistics Operator you will ensure mailroom, goods receiving and porterage services are delivered in a professional manner in line with site SLA's and customer expectations of quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Sorting and Distributing incoming mail, ensuring all mail and parcels are correctly sorted and promptly delivered to the right departments or individuals.
- Logging deliveries in tracking systems, recording each item accurately in the mail tracking software to maintain clear audit trails and accountability.
- Coordinating outgoing shipments, preparing, packaging and scheduling outgoing mail and parcels while liaising with couriers to meet deadlines.
- Reporting Damaged/missing items, identifying and escalating issues with deliveries to the supervisor and relevant parties for resolution.
- Maintaining mailroom supplies, monitoring and replenishing stock such as labels, envelopes and franking machine ink to keep operations running smoothly.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Must be able to identify and resolve issues and challenges to meet/exceed the expectations of our customer and clients.
- Must have general experience of portering / stores and mail room activity.
- Appropriate qualifications or experience in manual handling and general health and safety at work.
- Must be highly motivated and a good communicator.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety at work and risk assessments.
