JOB DESCRIPTION:

The department organises and runs PPM (Preventative Planned Maintenance) sign cleaning services along with pro-active and reactive services on external and internal signage for various clients. Looking after signage illumination faults, general repairs of signs and covering Health and Safety callouts for dangerous or business critical situations. The department consists of 34 staff, 12 fleet vans and 2 Access Platforms all controlled from a dedicated Maintenance Department and field-based team. As well as general maintenance works, the department from time to time assists the Installation Department on new projects.

POSITION:

To work alongside the Maintenance Team, assisting as necessary with day-to-day duties, dealing directly with the Maintenance Field Team, the wider Production Team whilst providing a first-class service to our clients.

Duties consist of (in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager)

Actioning client requests in a timely manner

Interacting with and assisting maintenance engineers with onsite queries

Working on the clients own specific portals

Chasing works through the factory

Ordering parts from production

Working on general stock levels for Maintenance

Ensuring KPI's are kept to the required standard for all clients / customers

Issuing RAMs and making sure they are signed for every job

Occasional cover on weekends and nights - accepting jobs and organising the relevant team to attend.

Attending annual client relationship meetings when required

Assisting with growth of the department by gaining new contracts

Comfortable speaking with and meeting Clients, as well as senior members within the business

Able to give clear instructions to Engineers

Work away when necessary (very occasional)

Self-Motivated and able to motivate others to get the best out of them is of high importance in this role

Background knowledge in this type of role or industry would be of benefit
