Overview

We're looking for a proactive and reliable Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Central London. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong technical ability, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will take ownership of both reactive and planned maintenance tasks across a variety of commercial and residential sites, ensuring all facilities and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

You'll need to be versatile -- comfortable turning your hand to electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance work, while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across multiple sites, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption. Diagnose and repair issues with electrical systems, mechanical components, and control systems (PLC experience advantageous). Conduct general building maintenance, including basic plumbing, carpentry, and decorating where required. Perform welding or fabrication tasks as needed for repairs or modifications. Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to support fault finding and repair. Maintain accurate records of all works carried out, including inspections and repairs. Provide a high level of customer service, communicating effectively with staff and clients. Work independently and as part of a wider maintenance team to ensure sites remain safe, functional, and well presented. Supervise and support junior team members where necessary.

About You

Proven experience in a multi-skilled or maintenance engineering role (commercial or residential). Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems. Confident working independently with strong time-management skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Professional appearance and attitude. Ability to travel across Central London (driving licence desirable). Must supply own tools.

Pay: 21,000.00-28,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week
