This role will work directly with and under the supervision of the Palace maintenance Team, carrying out various maintenance tasks across the World Heritage Site, the Palace, courtyards and the Walled Garden visitor areas. It is an important role, carrying out a variety of repairs, installation and compliance-based tasks across a multiple of trade disciplines. It will also entail liaison with other departments within the palace and delivering high standards of customer service in all interactions with our visitors.

What we are looking for:

A general understanding of Health & Safety requirements A good aptitude of 'on the tools' working A willingness to learn and progress knowledge within the maintenance field The position does not require but would benefit from a full and current driving license. If no license, then a serious intent to pass their driving test within the 12 - 18mth period A strong personality, flexible attitude and will to succeed Willingness to maintain very high standards of delivery - attention to detail essential Driven to complete tasks above expectations Flexible/adaptable "can do" approach to work Friendly and approachable manner Proactive approach to work Able to work in a demanding and busy environment Good communication skills Innovative approach and ability to think laterally Positive team player
