Job Description

Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our Berkshire College of Agriculture Team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Maintenance Assistant




'A 'hands on' role to undertake practical maintenance and project work in the college buildings and wider Estate.


Working within a small team at BCA, you will be responsible for ensuring the college facilities and built environment meet the required standards.


Daily tasks are varied and will include routine and reactive maintenance tasks such as repairing and installing flooring, tiling, basic plumbing, drainage, paving, roofs, windows, doors and painting and decorating.


You will work with our General Builder to undertake construction project work including groundworks, brickwork, timber sheds, internal fit out and installation of specialist facilities.


Maintenance and project work is undertaken across the college estate, working with a diverse range of curriculum departments to meet their needs.


The successful candidate will have a range of skills and experience from working in domestic or commercial trades. A good practical aptitude and flexibility to try new skills is required.'
