Job Title: All-Round Handyman / Maintenance Operative Location: Birmingham Job Type: Full-time Salary: National Minimum Wage (based on age) + experience Hours: Monday to Friday, [09:00- 17:00] ? About the Role: We are looking for a proactive, skilled, and dependable All-Round Handyman / Maintenance Operative to join our busy property maintenance team in Birmingham. This role involves a variety of day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks across multiple residential properties, requiring someone who is hands-on, trustworthy, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities: o Perform general remedial work and property repairs o Carry out garden maintenance including mowing, trimming, and general landscaping duties o Interior and exterior painting and decorating o Replace silicone sealant around baths, sinks, and other fittings o Remove household and construction rubbish and ensure clean job sites o Assist with moving tenants and their belongings when required o Change thumb turns and other lock-related components o Cut keys and ensure secure storage/handling of keys o Fill holes, sand walls, and prepare surfaces for painting or repair o Keep the company van well-organised and stocked with essential tools and materials o Provide general support across a variety of maintenance and operational tasks o Communicate effectively with property managers or tenants when necessary ? What We're Looking For: o Full UK driving licence with no points (essential) o Hands-on experience in a similar handyman, maintenance, or multi-trade role o Good knowledge of general maintenance and property repairs o Able to work independently and problem-solve on the go o Confident using tools and equipment, including gardening and power tools o Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and active tasks o A 'can-do' attitude with good time management skills o Honest, reliable, and respectful of client properties and tenant privacy o Professional appearance and conduct ?
