THE ROLE
Working hours - Monday to Friday:
8am-5pm, 40 hours per week.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled
Maintenance Cleaner.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in optimizing a newly formed manufacturing process and scaling this process up for high volume production, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement within our manufacturing operations. There is huge scope for advancement in an ambitious, newly formed, manufacturing business which has ambitious growth plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean and maintain production areas, walkways, offices, and welfare facilities (e.g., toilets, canteen, locker rooms).
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, including industrial flooring in workshops or factory spaces.
Clean machinery surfaces, equipment exteriors, and workstations in accordance with site protocols (not internal machine cleaning unless authorised/trained).
Remove waste and recyclables from production areas and ensure correct disposal in line with company procedures.
Perform deep-cleaning activities during planned shutdowns or scheduled cleaning windows.
Replenish consumables (soap, paper towels, hand sanitiser, etc.).
Follow Health & Safety rules including COSHH, PPE usage, safe chemical handling, and site-specific risk assessments.
Report hazards, maintenance issues, or stock shortages to the supervisor.
Maintain cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers) and store equipment safely.
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to audit-ready standards, supporting BRC/ISO/HACCP or other regulatory requirements where applicable.
Carry out any reasonable ad-hoc duties requested by your direct Line Manager or the Management Team.
Always promote teamwork and co-operation, both within individual locations and right across the entire company.
Safeguard all Company assets.
Treat all other employees and all our customers professionally and with respect.
Always act in the best interests of any of the Wraith Defence, and not to carry out (or fail to carry out) any action that would bring the company into disrepute.
Always work in a responsible manner to ensure safe working practices.

Qualifications:
Previous cleaning experience (industrial/manufacturing environment preferred).
Understanding of Health & Safety practices, including COSHH and manual handling (training can be provided).
Desirable
Experience using industrial cleaning equipment (e.g., scrubber dryers).
Basic understanding of 5S principles or workplace organisation systems.
Experience working in regulated environments
Other
Good knowledge of English.
A highly motivated and confident individual with a strong desire to succeed.
A full British driving licence.
Residence and the right to work in the UK.
A valid passport.
Able to pass a DBS check.

Good physical condition and endurance. (Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry cleaning equipment for extended periods)
Comfortable working in a factory environment with noise, dust, or temperature variation.
Ability to work independently and with little supervision.
Have excellent communication skills.
Experience in projects, ensuring you have control of material and time management used.
