We have a great opportunity for a Maintenance Compliance Manager to support the Head of Maintenance to ensure the maintenance department operates in line with University of Reading SLA's, policies and procedures.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5.00pm. The salary is up to 47,000 per annum.
Key responsibilities also include:Work within the maintenance function to ensure compliance in line with current legislation and both corporate/partnership KPI's and SLA's
Act as point of contact for UPP Reading for all statutory and non-statutory PPM works with in house teams and contractors, ensuring a robust set of PPM records are maintained
Manage PPM and compliance regimes to ensure legal, contractual and technical compliance, including responding to any changes in legislation or guidance
Deploy and maintain a working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and other applicable legislation, whilst always promoting a positive health and safety culture within the team
Full management of contractors including permit to work system and contractor documents, reviewing RAMs, competencies, induction documents etc.
Produce management reports on a regular basis
Proactively contribute to the improvement of the operation, service delivery and efficiencies within the maintenance team
Site lead for utilities data analysis and reporting
Assist during sampling and auditing.
GeneralBe prepared to undertake maintenance tasks as and when required
Identify improvement opportunities for the site and work in line with the Company ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 commitments ensuring compliance and service excellence is achieved
Identify and undertake training as required
Be prepared to work additional hours as and when the need arises, especially during the main student arrival and departure weekends
Be flexible in assisting at other sites if required and carry out other duties as commensurate with the post
