Hackney Council is looking for a Maintenance Contract Strategy and Planning Manager (R&M) to lead a Maintenance Strategy that meets and exceeds the needs of Hackney Council. The role heads the Maintenance Contract Management Team.



This role presents an opportunity to help shape the future of property maintenance across the Council's Strategic Property Portfolio. The estate comprises around 600 properties, including buildings in various sectors, including commercial offices, libraries, community halls, temporary accommodation and the voluntary sector. As the Maintenance Contract Strategy and Planning Manager, you will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of repair and maintenance services for Hackney Council. You will play a key role in shaping roles and processes to optimise the service. Using your stakeholder management and technical expertise you will ensure that Maintenance operates in line with best practice health & safety standards to ensure effective delivery and customer satisfaction metrics.
