Job Description

Are you a highly skilled, experienced maintenance professional ? #TeamUHD are looking for a maintenance craftsman ( mechanical ) to join the Estates department.



Estates provides a comprehensive maintenance, repair and installation service of the buildings, grounds, engineering services and associated equipment throughout the Trust.



You 'll have completed a recognised m echanical or b uilding s ervices apprenticeship and gained a wide experience in building engineering services and plant maintenance . This could be BTEC HNC level or City and Guilds plus relevant post apprenticeship training or equivalent experience.



We're looking for someone with a current UK (manual) driving licence and reside s within half an hour normal travel time to fulfil on-call duties.



You'll be working Monday - Friday with participation in an emergency on-call rota with opportunities for overtime and weekend working

Salary:

31,049 - 37,796 per annum (Band 5) plus local RRP (3,277 pa) and an approximate 1,000 on-call retainer. As this is a shift-working position, enhancements are payable in line with Agenda for Change, which is estimated to add around 5,000-6,000 per annum to total earnings.
