Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced

Maintenance Technician

to join our team at [Hotel/Lodge Name]. This role is essential in maintaining the comfort, safety, and functionality of our hotel and lodges. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general building maintenance and a proactive attitude toward solving problems and keeping our property in top condition.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repair duties including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, common areas, and grounds to identify and resolve issues Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies from guests or staff Ensure all equipment and systems operate efficiently and are compliant with safety standards Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in a clean and organized manner Assist in seasonal maintenance tasks (e.g., snow removal, landscaping, pool upkeep) Coordinate with contractors or vendors as needed for specialized repairs Maintain logs of maintenance work and report any major repairs to management Follow hotel safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:

Proven experience in general maintenance, preferably in a hospitality environment Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general carpentry Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication and customer service skills Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus Valid driver's license preferred
