Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Person to join our team at Best Western Ebbw Vale. This role is vital in maintaining the quality and safety of our facilities, contributing directly to our mission of guest satisfaction and comfort.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and facilities. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues efficiently. Conduct inspections to ensure safety standards are met. Assist with installation of new equipment and upgrades. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in electrical, mechanical, or general maintenance roles. Strong knowledge of schematics, welding, and PLC systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills in English. Supervising or leadership experience is a plus. Customer service orientation to assist guests effectively.
