Job Description
Welding Engineers has been in business since 1966 and is a major independent company specialising in the manufacture, installation, repair and maintenance of all types of Industrial Doors & Shutters, Steel Fabrication, Industrial Roofing and Lift Gates & Shutters.
We have branches in Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Hertford.
We are currently recruiting for a
Maintenance Electrician
to work with our existing maintenance team, you will get involved with installation projects, electrical fault finding and emergency breakdown repairs relating to the industrial doors, loading systems, automatic gates and barriers and will be based out of our premises in Uddingston.Examples of equipment you will be required to work on include:
3 phase motors Starters and controls Electronic control systems Programmable logic controllers Variable speed drives and controls Safety systems and sensors
Qualifications and Skills
Must be conversant in various types of electrical and mechanical equipment Ability to communicate with customers at all level Minimum 2 years' experience Driving licence essential
Full training will be given on the installation, maintenance and repair of all types of industrial doors and dock levellers.
