Duties
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems as needed.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to assist with repairs and installations.
- Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and improve overall operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed and parts used.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in maintenance technology.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in welding techniques is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and electrical systems is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills, ensuring positive interactions with colleagues and management.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication within the team.
