JOB PURPOSE



To ensure Production Machinery is maintained & repaired to a high standard to enable maximum production speeds with minimum interruptions and breakdowns. To ensure Maintenance & Service records are maintained To devise, fabricate, and install, improvements to Production Machines.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES



Carry out planned maintenance on plant & equipment to a high standard Respond to breakdowns on Production machines Install and relocate production equipment Specify & order spare parts Complete maintenance records Complete all paperwork required to place orders and book in parts Read Electrical & Mechanical Drawings Carry out Electrical Fault Finding Carry out Mechanical Fault finding Carry out Pneumatic Fault Finding Record work carried out on a daily Time Sheet Liaise with Contractors Liaise with suppliers Liaise with Engineering Companies Liaise with other departments Health & Safety. Responsible for self and others Assist with Stock Takes Ensure a good working relationship with all Departments Work overtime when required Carry out call-outs when required Work Shifts

Multi-skilled Read Electrical & Mechanical Drawings Good Mechanical skills Good Electrical Skills Experience working on pneumatics Experience working on hydraulics 17th Edition Electrician Carry out Electrical Fault Finding Carry out Mechanical Fault finding Experience working on a range of Pumps Experience working on Compressors Experience working on Refrigeration systems PC Literate Basic use of Excel Basic use of Word Experience working in a high speed, high pressure production environment Experience within the Printing Industry Experience within the Carton Manufacturing Industry Experience working on Heidelberg Sheet Fed Printing Presses Experience working on Manroland Sheet Fed Printing Presses Experience working on Bobst Cut & Crease Machines and Folder Gluers Experience working on Jagenberg & International Folder Gluers

Hours of work -

Rotating days and night 12 hour shifts - 36.5 hours per week
