We're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to support the safety, reliability and performance of production equipment within a manufacturing environment. You'll focus on fault-finding, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement, working closely with Production and Engineering teams. This role will operate on a 6am - 2pm shift, Monday to Friday with openness to a rotating shift pattern.
Key Duties
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults (motors, drives, conveyors, PLCs, inverters)
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime and improve OEE
Respond to breakdowns using structured fault-finding techniques
Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety requirements
Support equipment improvements, 5S and efficiency projects
Assist with new equipment installation and contractor activities
About You
Mechanical or Electrical qualification (or time-served)
Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
PLC fault-finding, welding or machining experience
