Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced multi skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the maintenance, development, and optimisation of our feedstock operations and waste water treatment. This role is hands on and is pivotal in driving our growth strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing our operational capabilities to maintain our industry-leading position.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipment including pumps, motors, gearboxes and valves
Diagnosing faults - Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical and process related issues to ensure optimal plant performance
Oversee plant commissioning and development providing technical support and guidance
Repairing plant and equipment
Introduce and implement new technologies and treatments to enhance operations
Create maintenance procedures
Manage stocks and supplies
Prepare weekly reports
Ensure Compliance with all health and safety legislation
Obtain specialist components and equipment as required
Respond to breakdowns where required
Key Qualifications:
Experience in anaerobic digestion or waste-to-energy operations
A solid understanding of mechanical, electrical and process engineering principles
Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely
Strong project management and analytical skills
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Passionate about sustainability and renewable energy
Committed to working safely and adhering to health and safety regulations
