Job Description

As part of a multi-skilled team, working a 3 shift rota, the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate electrical competence, an excellent team working attitude, be able to communicate with people at all levels, have a hands-on approach to problem solving, lead by example, train new starters and work under their own initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform on-site reactive maintenance including electrical insulations and general building repairs . Oversea activities related to upgrading, installing, repairing and maintaining different types of proprietary equipment around the entire site. Carry out planned preventative maintenance. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to production during maintenance work. Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are met. Conduct risk assessments and participate in accident investigations. Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes. Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

Skills & Requirements:

Level 2 or Level 3 electrical installation qualification or equivalent required. 18th Edition wiring regulations required. Previous relevant experience Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage tasks under pressure. Knowledge of food industry regulations and compliance. Flexibility with shift changes when required.

Salary:

33,000-43,000 (+10% shift allowance)

Shift Pattern:

3-shift Rotation (currently, 04:00-13:00 / 08:00-17:00 / 13:00-22:00 but subject to change)
