About The Role:




Role purpose:





To work as an integral part of the facilities management team in the west business unit, covering sites in Glasgow and West Scotland.



We are looking for an individual who is proactive in approach, and who will look to establish credibility with managers and employees from the start of the employment contract.


Duties & Responsibilities:




The Engineer will be required to perform the following:




Provide maintenance, inspection and repair services to various plumbing/gas systems Complete small works, installation and refurbishment works Maintain and manage records for all systems, including service reports and follow up remedial works Liaise with supervisor providing updates and progress on workload Provide the site with support on all aspects to ensure full site compliance Assist with general ad-hoc FM maintenance & unprogrammed maintenance tasks, where required

Skills & Knowledge:




Previous experience of PPM's and reactive Maintenance, with a plumbing bias Plumbing/Gas qualifications Building services knowledge Basic electrical knowledge (desirable) Experience or qualified trade in electrical engineering, commercial gas or HVAC systems Highly articulate and presentable, with excellent customer facing skills IT literate and good record/data keeping skills Proactive attitude and a strong desire to take ownership of the site and contract

Full UK Driving License - essential



Work Pattern:


Monday - Friday 40 hours per week, 08:00-16:30 Overtime available & on call required with enhanced rates
