We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our Engineering team.

The Role

Coveris Hartlepool recognises that the Engineering Team is one of our most valuable assets and has put in place a structure to support a safe working environment capable of reacting to the companies needs within the Engineering/Maintenance areas. The Team provides technical support for machine and plant facilities upkeep and repair, contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and NPI technical support.

Key Accountabilities

Maintaining machines via the PPM process

Repair of Plant machinery and equipment

Fault diagnostics and root cause analysis

Provide Electrical expertise to the team

Clear reporting both verbal and written

Contributing to continuous improvement themes

Support of new product introduction

The Individual

The successful candidate must hold an Engineering qualification (preferred electrical). You must be a 'self-starter', be self-motivating, driven and be committed to improvement. You must be PC literate (MS Office, etc) and be able to offer suitable solutions and relevant support to other business functions. Compliance with and the management of all health and safety requirements is essential to ensure the welfare of yourself and others at all times. Working knowledge of PLCs would be beneficial. Strong communication skills are essential both written and oral. Further training opportunities will be available.
