The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery, equipment, and facilities operate efficiently and safely. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, tools, and equipment.
Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize breakdowns.
Maintain detailed maintenance logs and records of all activities.
Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment performance.
Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate with suppliers when necessary.
Participate in equipment installation, testing, and commissioning.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Provide technical support and training to operators when required.
Skills Required:
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications:
Diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
