Position Overview:
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of manufacturing equipment and systems. This role requires an individual with a strong background in maintenance, preferably within the FMCG manufacturing sector however open to other production environments. The Maintenance Technician will carry out preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and ensure production lines run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and/or electrical, issues to minimise downtime.
• Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components, ensuring optimal performance of all systems.
• Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to enhance machine performance and efficiency.
• Look for ways to make improvements to machine effectiveness.
• Uphold safety standards, ensuring compliance with company regulations and promoting a safe working environment.

Ideal Candidate:

• Extensive experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing production environment.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing industrial machinery.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, proactive approach.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Solid communication skills and enjoys working in a friendly environment.
