We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer who will work within the facilities team across the College to provide efficient and effective technical maintenance, repair, installation and support service primarily for machines and associated equipment / services.
This position offers a variety of work with an opportunity to work across several industries on one Campus. The successful applicant will work across Engineering, Woodworking, Fab & Weld as well as Construction, Fashion and on Media equipment.
Applicants should be City & Guilds or equivalent qualified / experienced in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
This role provides an essential service to our students and apprentices and the successful applicant should be committed and confident with a methodical approach to work, as well as having good communication skills in order to work effectively as part of a team.
The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate the ability to work on their own initiative and to plan and prioritise workloads whilst working in line with Health & Safety policies, procedures and regulations.
