We're excited to be hiring a

Maintenance Engineer to join our growing Engineering team. This role is an integral part of the team keeping our operation going and our customers happy with great-tasting products! This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on, proactive individual who wants to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced, food manufacturing environment.

What you'll be doing:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across a wide range of food production equipment.*
Responding quickly and effectively to machinery breakdowns to minimize downtime.*
Working closely with production teams to ensure all machinery operates at peak performance.*
Supporting and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.*
Ensuring all engineering work is carried out safely and to the highest standard, following health and food safety guidelines.*
Assisting in installations, commissioning of new equipment, and factory development projects.*

What you'll need to succeed:

Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role, ideally within the food manufacturing or FMCG sector.*
A solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.*
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.*
A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.*
Flexibility to work shifts and support the business as needed.*
Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential if you have strong practical experience.*

Hours: 7am - 5pm (rota in operation if production finishes after 5pm)
