Maintenance Engineer X2
Job Description
We have two roles available, one based in Tamworth and one in Telford.
Both Maintenance Engineer roles will support the Maintenance Manager to provide both Electrical and Mechanical support to the Company's plant, equipment and installations, with respect to all maintenance department activities and the Companies' quality policy.
Necessary attributes include - attention to detail, accuracy in recording, an investigative mindset with a willingness to work as part of a team as well as work on own initiative when needed, a "can do" flexible attitude and ability to complete jobs to the required standard.
It is essential that the candidate has the relevant Electrical and Mechanical qualifications.
Hours of work are as follows;
Tamworth site - Friday to Sunday 6pm - 6am
Telford site - Mon to Thurs 8.30am - 5pm/Friday 8am - 2.30pm
Duties will include:
Effectively communicate with manufacturing / operational personnel / management. Maintain current planned and preventative maintenance techniques. Ensure all work is recorded on the Maintenance Management software system and progress actions are kept up-to-date. To always maintain safe working conditions and practices throughout the site. Ensure that plant breakdowns are rectified as swiftly as possible, all works completed are to the highest standards and that the root cause of failure is identified wherever possible. To take responsibility to ensure own personal development including awareness of changes in relevant legislation, working practices and skills/competence levels. To meet Manufacturing priorities and requirements and to ensure that plant operational downtime is minimised.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 35,000.00-39,000.00 per year
