We are currently looking to recruit an experience engineer with both mechanical and electrical knowledge to work in a modern busy Bakery environment. Full training will be given, however a good general engineering understanding will be needed.
Normal start time would be around 06:00 am with a finish time of around 2:30pm over 5 full days or 4 full days and two half days. The working week is normally Monday to Saturday but includes a Saturday off rota. Overtime is regularly available to help increase earnings. Includes 22 days paid holiday plus paid Bank Holidays.
Duties would include strip cleaning bakery machinery, routine equipment maintenance, setting up equipment for production runs etc. It would also include the need to gather and record statutory information including simple safety checks such as fire and machinery safety guarding, temperature checking of freezers and fridges and arranging repairs as necessary following checks. Full training will be provided.
You would be part of a small friendly engineering team working from a well equipped maintenance workshop working under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager.
