Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various engineering software and tools. This role involves ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our systems through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities



Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment failures and inefficiencies. Utilise Simulink for system modelling and simulation to enhance performance. Program, maintain, and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure optimal operation of machinery. Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles in design and inspection processes. Create and modify designs using SolidWorks, ensuring compliance with specifications. Develop algorithms and perform data analysis using MATLAB for system optimisation. Interpret schematics to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions. Employ Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for drafting and designing engineering projects. Use LabVIEW for data acquisition, instrument control, and automation tasks. Participate in system design projects, contributing technical expertise to enhance overall functionality.

Skills



Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on maintenance engineering principles. Proficient in root cause analysis techniques for effective problem-solving. Experience with Simulink for modelling complex systems. Skilled in programming and troubleshooting PLCs to ensure seamless operations. Familiarity with GD&T standards for precise engineering documentation. Competent in using SolidWorks for 3D modelling and design tasks. Proficient in MATLAB for data analysis and algorithm development. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively for troubleshooting purposes. Experience with CAD software for creating detailed engineering drawings. Knowledge of LabVIEW for automation and control applications. Strong understanding of system design principles to contribute to innovative solutions.
