Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Fitter to join our dynamic Maintenance Department. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing plant equipment, ensuring smooth operations across the site. Key Responsibilities:

Fault Diagnosis & Repairs:

Perform accurate fault diagnosis and execute repairs on plant equipment to minimize downtime.

Routine Maintenance:

Conduct regular preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment longevity and reliability.

Breakdown Response:

Serve as the first responder to mechanical breakdowns, troubleshooting issues efficiently to get equipment back up and running quickly.

Mobile Plant Equipment:

Work on mobile plant equipment, including

PPT (Powered Pallet Trucks)

and

FLT (Fork Lift Trucks)

, ensuring they remain operational and meet safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

Time-Served MAMF:

A

Mechanical, Automation & Maintenance Fitter (MAMF)

qualification is desirable but not essential.

Hands-On Experience:

Solid experience working with machines, process equipment, controls, automation systems, and mobile plant equipment.

Strong Problem-Solving Skills:

Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and find effective solutions under pressure.

Effective Communication:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and document maintenance activities.

Self-Sufficient & Team-Oriented:

Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player in a collaborative environment.

Flexibility:

Willingness to work shift patterns, overtime, and be available for on-call duties as required.

Additional Information:
