Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Plant Engineering

Doncaster Plant

Role description

We are currently seeking to strengthen its operation with the recruitment of a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer at its Doncaster site, reporting to the Mechanical Team Leader in the Plant Engineering Department.



Responsibilities:



Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM)

Attending Breakdowns

Ensure adequate stores and equipment spares to maintain functioning of plant

General Factory Mechanical Maintenance

Provide support for critical plant functions as and when required

Communicate with colleagues and management to establish and maintain a well-informed team

Work as part of an effective team to manage & control the workload throughout the shift



Required skills / qualifications:



Gained a recognised Apprenticeship in mechanical engineering

Minimum 5 years engineering experience

Good understanding of the production and packaging processes

Have good attention to detail with good problem-solving skills

Ability to produce and read engineering drawings

What we offer

Salary minimum 32,358 - 39,886 maximum per annum (Grade 6)

37 hour working week, Monday to Friday, with option for condensed working hours, plus 26.5 days holiday + 8 statutory holidays
