Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, fitting, and installing various components and systems according to specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with precision tools and equipment. The Fitter will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet quality standards and function effectively.

Duties

Use the overhead cranes system and understand of the safety aspects for all lifting equipment on sites

Clean and maintain the tools (molds) around both factory's (boxes and lids tools)

Clean working areas, machines and tool store areas.

Be able to understand Engel machine's foibles and correct these via computer screens.

Safely remove tools from the machines using cranes

Safely fit tools into machines using cranes

Program machines for new or existing tools using machine computer programme screens

Program the multi axis robots to extract parts made and deposit safely

Housekeeping is essential its clean as you go

Complete shutdown of machines on Saturday at the end of night shift at a nominated site

The hourly rates are dependent on your experience in a similar type of fitter role within a production/engineering environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the workplace is essential. Relevant qualifications or certifications in engineering or mechanical fitting are advantageous but not mandatory.
