To support our growth and keep our spaces running smoothly, we are looking for an experienced, practical, and proactive Handyman to join our team.

Position Overview:



This is a fully hands-on role working across three office buildings in Glasgow. The Handyman will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day maintenance, repairs, basic installs, and regular site inspections to ensure all buildings remain safe, functional, and presentable. You'll travel between sites using a company van, completing tasks independently while also supporting and guiding an apprentice.

Key Responsibilities:



-Carry out routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and general upkeep across all workspace locations.

-Support and guide an apprentice, ensuring tasks are completed safely and to a high standard.

-Work collaboratively with the operations team to schedule works with minimal disruption to tenants.

-Conduct regular on-site inspections and promptly report or address any issues.

-Manage and prioritise maintenance requests from Community Managers across each site.

-Respond quickly to maintenance emergencies as directed by the operations team.

-Maintain tools, and equipment; liaise with suppliers and contractors when required.

-Track and report maintenance costs on a weekly basis.

Requirements:



-Minimum 3 years' experience in a hands-on maintenance or handyman role, ideally within large buildings.

-Valid driver's licence (company van provided for travel between sites). Strong practical skills and working knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, joinery, etc.).

-Excellent problem-solving abilities and confidence in carrying out repairs independently. --Good communication and organisational skills. Experience supporting or guiding junior team members is a bonus.

-Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

-Health and safety knowledge is advantageous.
