We are seeking a versatile and experienced Handy Man to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks across our facilities. Duties

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and building infrastructure Repair and replace electrical components, including wiring and fixtures, ensuring compliance with safety standards Operate and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and interpret schematics for various systems Perform welding tasks using appropriate techniques and safety protocols Maintain mechanical systems, including pumps, conveyors, and HVAC units Assist with installation of new equipment or systems as required Supervise junior staff or apprentices during maintenance activities Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organised, and safe in accordance with health and safety regulations Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal or external client requests promptly and professionally

Skills

Strong electrical experience with the ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams Mechanical knowledge encompassing maintenance of diverse equipment and systems Proficiency in welding techniques suitable for various materials Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable Ability to supervise teams effectively, demonstrating leadership qualities Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal Proven customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently and independently Organised with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
