We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance, with expertise in electrical and mechanical systems. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and facilities, performing repairs, and providing exceptional customer service. The Maintenance Person will also be responsible for supervising maintenance staff and leading projects to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and repair issues related to programmable logic controllers and electrical systems.
Interpret schematics and technical drawings to assist in repairs and installations.
Perform welding tasks as required for equipment repairs or modifications.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Provide leadership and supervision to maintenance staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or clients.
Document all maintenance activities, including repairs performed and parts used.
Requirements
Proven experience in maintenance roles with strong mechanical knowledge.
Proficiency in electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers is advantageous.
Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
Experience in welding techniques is preferred.
Strong leadership skills with previous supervising experience.
Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
