POSITION SUMMARY



This position supports Maintenance Management for Evonik Chemicals Ltd plant in Clayton Lane, Clayton, Manchester. The scope includes operation's equipment as well as facility.



The incumbent plans, schedules, drive all Maintenance activities such as Predictive/Preventive, Corrective Maintenance, Modification Projects & Facility maintenance involving various engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical & Instrumentation to optimize utilization of resources and facilitate safe, smooth and cost effective as well as timely execution.



The incumbent provides organization, planning, and direction of maintenance, technical changes/ improvements and technical documentations. Lead maintenance team to deliver plant reliability and make sure there is safe working environment in the plant.



PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES



1. Manage and drive EHS culture by leading the maintenance team and emphasizing on corporate EHS policy and culture. To actively and effectively participate in EH&S activities, best practices initiation/sharing as well as drive continuous improvement in EHS topic

2. To lead team members in order to achieve the optimized maintenance planning and enable high performance Operations consistent with plant management strategy.

3. To identify and drive need based development plan for the maintenance team.

4. To drive plant predictive/preventive maintenance planning, scheduling as well as safe execution. This inclusive of Mechanical Integrity program. This should be done in cost effective manner without compromising on safety as well as quality goal.

5. To drive plant reliability by constantly reviewing corrective maintenance data and effectiveness of predictive/preventive maintenance program (by using various tools - e.g. RCA,RBM, RCM, FMEA, etc. and inspection techniques - e.g. oil analyses, other NDT).

6. To drive and execute need based facility related maintenance.

7. To ensure all maintenance information (e.g. equipment history records and fault reports) is accurately and promptly updated and maintained in SAP as well as in other format

8. To ensure maintenance department related KPIs are tracked closely in order to find improvement opportunity

9. To ensure support and compliance to work process related to SAP, Management System(ISO 9001 & 14001), MOC, procurement process and related corporate requirement such as Binding Technical Document(BTD).

10. To support, work and align with cross functional departments in order to achieve company goal.

11. To oversee projects / maintenance works and liaise with contractors to ensure work is carried out safely, smoothly and according to schedule

12. To ensure optimal technical store management via supporting Procurement process by keeping close focus in cost reduction with compromising safety as well as quality

13. To drive zero base maintenance budget process, ensuring justification, request, and implementation, reporting and tracking in line

14. To review design, replace and install new equipment according to spare parts availability for obsoleted spares

15. To drive TPM related activity in the department

16. To identify, priorities and execute improvement ideas in various technical energy saving projects, spare part strategy, introduction of new vendors, contractors, contractor scopes and etc

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS



Degree in Mechanical Engineering with more than 10 years of working experience. Candidates from chemical, oil & gas, petrochemical manufacturing are highly preferred. Strong computer / IT skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, IT-Network, Telecommunication, etc.) Candidate should possess strong leadership qualities and analytical skills

Pay: 50,000.00-60,000.00 per year
