We work closely with local authorities who place individuals from various backgrounds and specific needs, our accommodation services include HMOs, flats and houses with a variety of services from mother and baby units to disable units that can also be adapted depending on the client.
The Role
As a maintenance multi-trader, you'll be scheduled to visit our portfolio of properties across your assigned region (e.g. South London) to carry out remedial and planned maintenance, to ensure that we're always providing high-quality accommodation for our residents. You'll be part of a team of other field-based maintenance multi-traders, and property managers to ensure that repairs are carried out promptly and effectively.
What will you be doing?
Attending properties to carry out proactive and reactive maintenance repairs, with work
scheduled for you by your coordinator.
An accurate description for each job (photos/ videos) Before and after
Updating information on our maintenance system (training provided)
Completing jobs in accordance with service level agreements
Registering job progress reports and completing job reports
Liaise with other maintenance teams and external specialist
Ensure planned maintenance and breakdown activities are monitored and any delays are logged and escalated to the maintenance service team
Ensure that the highest levels of customer service are fully implemented to achieve customer and client satisfaction.
Job Requirements
It's essential that you have:
Substantial experience in multi-skilled trade repairs and maintenance, including plastering painting and decoration, plumbing, basic electrics, carpentry, and kitchen installation.
Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a high-pressure environment
Ability to provide expert advice to junior members of the team
Close attention to detail
Good administrative skills
Ability to work on your own initiative without close supervision and as part of a team
It's an advantage if you:
Can work flexibly - standard hours are 9 - 6 pm
Flexible to do earlier and later shifts to provide enhanced support for urgent work
Flexible to attend emergencies out of hours
Have previous experience working in temporary and emergency accommodation
Have experience working with vulnerable individuals and managing HMO properties
Driver's license
DBS / Police checked (or able to pass these if you've not previously required them)
