Alpha Supported Housing are currently seeking a multi skilled Maintenance Person who has a generic background in all fields of maintenance to work at multiple sites.

As the Maintenance Person you will positively promote excellent health and safety standards within and around our properties,

Supporting the Housing Manager to maintain a safe environment for our residents.

The Role
Daily duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Responsible for carrying out a wide range of routine building, maintenance and repair jobs, with minimum disruption to the care of the home oversee heating systems, fire alarm checks, refrigeration, general plumbing and electrics
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Ensuring the properties are kept up to HMO standards
Skills/Requirements:

Practical Multi Skilled Maintenance experience covering repairs such as carpentry, painting and plumbing, general all rounder. Health and safety regulations experience and understanding competent in carrying out lone working and working with vulnerable people and families. Vehicle owner(Essential), van will be given if required Must have own tools Mandatory out of hours work as and when needed. Ability to deal with other contractors or maintenance workers General Gardening preferred. Willingness to attend to maintenance issues if emergencies arise Ability to work under pressure Be flexible and work closely with management to achieve objectives Ability to meet deadlines and work with a specified budget Able to work as part of a team with excellent communication skills

Salary 25,000.00 per year Depending upon experience
