Job Description

We have an exciting job opportunity for a full time Maintenance Operative at Pantglas Hall.

Pantglas Hall is busy friendly holiday resort in rural Carmarthenshire with traditional log cabins, leisure facilities including a pool complex and hospitality with the Restaurant, Coffee Shop, Function Suite housed within the Mews Building which is Grade II listed.

Key duties will include the following: -

Planned and Reactive maintenance for lodges and facilities including day to day repairs, ensuring all maintenance jobs are completed with minimal disruption caused to guests and owners. Grounds Maintenance. Compliance with health and safety, and fire regulations. To help develop, improve and implement new ideas for the guest experience.
This is a 7-day operation, and you will be required to work 5 days out of 7, which will include weekends and Bank Holidays.

We are a small team so the right candidate will have a hands-on approach and the following would be desirable.

Experience in a hospitality maintenance environment. An all-rounder with a skill-based qualification such as Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical would be beneficial. Ability to deal with a wide range of basic maintenance repairs. A practical working knowledge of all aspects of health & safety and fire regulations within a holiday Resort environment. A full driver's license is essential.
