Job Description

CNC Recruitment is seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Operative to join a well-established client within in Honiton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, problem-solving, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Location: Honiton area
Employment Type: Full Time Permanent
Salary: starting from 327k p.a. [330k p.a. after the probation period]
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out general building and facility maintenance (interior and exterior)
Perform routine inspections of equipment and machinery
Assist with basic repairs to plumbing, electrics, and fixtures
Respond promptly to maintenance requests or reactive tasks
Maintain cleanliness and safety across the premises
Liaise with external contractors when necessary
Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used

Requirements

Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role
Good understanding of basic plumbing, electrics, and DIY tasks
Able to work independently and use initiative
Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks
Strong attention to detail and time management
Health & Safety awareness

Bonus if you have:

A relevant trade qualification (e.g. plumbing, electrical, carpentry)
Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
A valid drivers license (if travel between sites is required)
