As Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in supervising maintenance activities and staff, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. With a hands-on approach, you will monitor contractors, train staff, and maintain essential records, all while fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and ensure compliance of maintenance staff with health and safety practices. Coordinate and monitor daily maintenance activities, ensuring work is completed on time and to standard. Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and necessary maintenance for all facilities. Perform minor repairs and oversee planned preventative maintenance to meet legal and regulatory compliance. Provide a backup emergency response as part of the overnight team when necessary. Train staff in using safety systems, including fire alarms, and carry out risk assessments as required.



Ideal Candidate:

Educated to GCSE/BTEC standard or NVQ 3 standard, with a suitable trade qualification. Demonstrable experience in facilities/maintenance management and staff supervision. Strong organisational skills and an ability to work flexibly across various locations. Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on health and safety. Experience working with hand/power tools and a wide range of maintenance practices. Comfortable with working at height and outdoor in varying weather conditions. Must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
