What will you do?
Ensure works completed are to a high standard & completed within realistic time frame.
To ensure stock, tools & materials are kept to an acceptable level & usable standard.
Communicate effectively & continuously as reasonably practicable with the maintenance manager & other departments as required.
Inform company of any additional works needed at location.
Work well independently, yet be supportive of team members and goals.
Be able to make sure any works completed are compliant in line with HSE and water bye-laws
Be able to respond effectively to emergency call outs / situations
To provide general maintenance assistance to our members including furniture building and storage, hanging pictures and items as requested and assisting them in familiarisation of their new apartment and systems.
To be flexible and adaptive to the needs of the site, supporting the team in additional ad hoc duties including manning the front reception desk, assisting with general enquiries and supporting the housekeeper when required.
What are we looking for?
Experience working in a customer facing role
Already working within a maintenance role within residential properties or student accommodation.
Able to use general hand tools
Comfortable with Manual Handling
Working at height
Have basic painting skills
Able to work alone or as part of a team
Strong understanding of COSHH
