A. Job Role and Responsibilities



Main tasks will involve hands-on delivery / resolution of maintenance elements and works to property developments within the Colony portfolio. Key responsibilities are ensuring works are delivered on time and to the correct highest standard, minimising disturbances for our members and customers. Materials procured and works carried out to be given full consideration of efficiencies of time and spend. Where outside resource is required, this is to be procured and managed in line with these considerations.

Duties & Responsibilities



Be a key member of the Colony Maintenance Team. Installations, inspections, diagnosing faults, testing, replacement, repair and maintenance of building, fixtures and fittings within the Colony portfolio. To assess maintenance/repair works associated with End Of Tenancy reports, preparing offices at the end of tenancy period, ready for new tenant move ins. To approach works in best logical order of priority, considering safety, customer impact, aesthetic impact, and scale of task. Utilise the company's processes and systems to record details of each job including time on the job, parts used, images and any re-attendance required Risk assess each job to ensure you have the correct tools, PPE, equipment, knowledge and second personnel attendance where required. Report any concerns to the Maintenance Manager Make recommendations and give feedback to your line manager regarding best methods and approaches to achieve set targets efficiently. Assist and respond to site maintenance issues where required. Ensure works are carried out on-schedule, and design vision is materialised to highest exacting standards, ensuring offices are prepared in time for new tenants. Ensure works and materials adhere to product standards and quality assurance policies and procedures. Communicate updates, reporting the status / schedule of any open projects or maintenance jobs. Contribute to internal and external team meetings as needed, providing input where required. Identify improvements to the overall Colony product and customer experience, actively contributing to the delivery and implementation of such. Carry out site surveys where necessary. Compose refurbishment schedules where required. To maintain and present a professional manner when communicating with Colony colleagues and customers. To assist the Fit Out Department if/when required on refurbishment projects.

Technical Attributes



Able to execute a range of maintenance tasks, applying skills from a variety of disciplines including general plumbing, painting & decorating, joinery, cleaning, transportation of items and minor electrical tasks. Able to follow instructions. Knowledge of construction industry best practices, building and accessibility codes. Passionate and curious about the built environment. Maintain a desire for knowledge about all aspects of what we do at Colony and look for ways to contribute your knowledge and learn from others.

High level of adaptability within a fast-paced dynamic work environment, maintain excellent attention to detail. Adept problem solver that is quick on their feet while maintaining strong focus on organizational end goals. Excellent time management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Pay: 26,000.00-28,500.00 per year
