Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking person to join to our maintenance team based at Normanton site with travel to Castleford site when required.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Check salt and corroban for water treatment Grease and lubricate all required machinery every 2 weeks Check machines filter every 2 weeks Check machine oil levels every week Clean raw material system filters on Monday, Wednesday and Friday Clean chiller system wet filters monthly Jet wash chiller filters monthly Brush V-blast every week monthly Jet washes any V-blast filters monthly Check machines every day for oil leaks and take corrective action as required Check all banders are in working order on a weekly basis Recycle and remove all empty cans Check the drains around the site every other day Weekly check of fire extinguishers and leave any empty extinguishers in reception and contact HR to arrange collection. Inform Denise when taken off your daily duties so she is aware of your whereabouts

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the workplace is essential. Relevant qualifications or certifications in engineering or mechanical fitting are advantageous but not mandatory.
