Summary

Roche Logistics Group are looking for experienced Maintenance Operative for their Swansea and Kenfig Warehouses.

The Maintenance Operative will be responsible for the appearance and functional upkeep of company premises. To undertake all routine and reactive maintenance to ensure facilities are maintained and presented to the highest standards. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading and highly respected international Logistics Company.

Responsibilities

Maintain building exteriors/interiors, landscaping, and warehouses identifying and carrying out repairs.

Service equipment in accordance with instructions Obtain quotes for larger works and submit to management for approval. Make small repairs as needed, sometimes improvising solutions around the site Undertake a daily walk of the premises inspecting company property in line with SOP's, completing daily/weekly checklists. Inspection of warehouse pedestrian barriers and racking protectors and ad-hoc repair of any damages. Inspection of racking systems and if damage is found, safely secure areas and report to management. Respond to maintenance emergencies Observe health and safety regulations and ensure standards are adhered to; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe and orderly condition Provide an on-call service on an emergency basis when required. General grounds keeping and maintenance including grass cutting, weed management, hedge trimming and litter management. Cover light cleaning duties alongside the company's cleaning provider.

Previous experience in a similar role Ability to troubleshoot Ability to follow a maintenance schedule Good written and communication skills Experience in basic electrical and general maintenance is an advantage
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 14.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
