Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance .. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively troubleshoot issues and ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs inside and outside our building. Engage with Management and Ownership routinely regarding tasks and on-going modernization of Ty Bryn Care Home Undertake tasks independently. Ensure that Fire Escape points are cleaned and also that the building is compliant with Health and Safety and Fire Regulations at all times. Complete weekly checks such as: Rodent Checks, Fire Lighting Checks, inactive water point checks, PUWER check on Resident equipment such as Zimmer Frames and also Wheelchairs. Ensure that that the grounds are presentable at all times for Visitors and Visiting Health Professionals.

Qualifications

Previous experience is necessary. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail. Join us as a Maintenance Operative, where your skills will contribute significantly to our operational success!

PLEASE NOTE - The successful candidate will be subjected to an Enhanced DBS Check. The Successful Candidate must have a clean record and will be require to evidence immediately to Management and Ownership. Failure to declare such incidents will result in termination of employment effective immediately.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 22.5 per week
