Job Description
Hardworking and enthusiastic handy person required to work 3/4 days per week in a nursing home
Requirements:
Experience in general maintenance/DIY Access to own vehicle Full DBS check will be required
Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing multiple repair and maintenance tasks around the building, which includes, but is not limited to:
Painting & decorating Day to day DIY tasks within the care home Basic Electrical and Plumbing repairs General building repairs and carpentry Moving furniture around within the care home. To conduct inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues Regular checks and assessments of private and public areas Keep accurate records of maintenance performed and materials used Knowledge of the homes health and safety policy and procedures Coordinate with contractors for larger repairs or installations

The hours of work are negotiable at interview stage. You will also be expected to be on hand in the event of unlikely emergencies at the home.
