We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person / Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient environment for our staff and visitors.
Responsibilities
Manage day to day maintenance of Company Site to ensure a safe and well-presented environment.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance and safety issues.
Undertake routine maintenance tasks and minor general repair work as requested by the Site Manager.
Coordinate and supervise third-party contractors for specialised work.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, fire, and relevant regulations.
Conduct supplier collections / customer deliveries as and when required.
Assist Event set-up and break-down at on and off-site Events / Shows.
Duties
Maintain site grounds to highest standards. Jobs on grounds include but are not limited to hedge trimming, strimming, weed-control, landscaping, path/road repairs and painting.
Maintain premises to the highest standard. Jobs on premises include but are not limited to basic plumbing work, basic electrical work, general repairs, painting and basic carpentry.
Maintain machinery including bulk mixing machines to the highest standard. Jobs on machinery include but are not limited to basic servicing, planned & preventative maintenance, general repairs.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, reports and risk assessments.
Effectively manage and schedule maintenance jobs in order of priority
Communicate work with external suppliers and contractors when required.
Collaborate with Manager to ensure adequate stocks of spare parts and equipment for timely repairs.
Work effectively with all other team members to help create a positive working environment.
Deliver / collect goods in a professional and polite manner.
About you:
A professional, who understands the importance of maintaining high standards and working to statutory requirements and compliance to ensure our staff and visitors enjoy a safe and comfortable environment
Mechanical knowledge and maintenance experience.
Full UK driving license held for over five years with over 3 years of driving experience.
A friendly and approachable team player with an eye for detail and the ability to troubleshoot when necessary
Have basic health and safety qualifications or a working knowledge
Be able to carry out the physical demands of the job safely
Ability and willingness to drive various types of vehicles.
